  Bonuses and Compensation

  Excellent hourly pay rates
Our travelers receive the top pay rates in the industry. For 2007, we have raised pay rates throughout our national network and increased tax-free travel reimbursements. The majority of our assignments offer shift differentials for evening and night shifts. Unlike some other companies, the pay rates we quote are for regular pay, but most of our RNs earn more due to shift differentials, overtime and other bonuses. Pay rates vary for each assignment. While on assignment you will be paid directly by American Mobile Healthcare's payroll department.

Generous Completion Bonuses
Many of our hospital clients also offer lucrative completion bonuses, which can range from $500 to $6,000 for a 13-week assignment. Ask your recruiter for further details.

Referral bonuses
When you refer a colleague or friend to American Mobile Healthcare and that referral completes a 13-week assignment, you will be eligible to receive a $500 cash bonus.

Double Bonus for Critical Care RNs: For each Critical Care traveler you refer that applies between May 1, 2008 and May 31, 2008 and starts a travel assignment by June 30, 2008, you will be eligible to receive $1,000. Eligible Critical Care specialties include ICU, Surgical ICU, NICU, PICU, Cardiovascular ICU, ICU-Coronary Care Unit, Medical ICU, NeuroICU, Burn ICU.

401(k) retirement plan
It's never too early to start planning for your retirement. You are eligible to enroll in our 401(k) as soon as you start an assignment, and can contribute up to 50 percent of your salary or $14,000, whichever is lower, tax free. After 1,000 hours of continuous service, American Mobile Healthcare will match of 50 cents for each dollar you defer, up to 6 percent of your income. If you are age 50 or older, you may contribute $18,000 a year. Our 401(k) plan offers a variety of well-known stock, bond and money market funds.

  Medical insurance
New! Pick your plan! We have two great health insurance options for you to choose from, including day-one coverage. Whether you need immediate health coverage, want an affordable option for your family, prefer to stay with your physician or want out-of-network coverage, you can select the plan that best suits your needs. We pay 100 percent of premium expenses for medical, dental and life insurance for our healthcare professionals. Our group medical plans minimize out-of-pocket costs and meet a wide range of healthcare needs.

Dental insurance
Our dental insurance plan pays 100 percent of your dental premiums and covers diagnostic and preventive procedures at 50 percent.

Discount vision program
To help you and your family save on eye exams, prescription lenses, frames, contact lenses and other eye care products, American Mobile Healthcare offers a vision eye care benefit at no cost to you, through our partnership with VSP, a national discount vision provider. Access to VSP is contingent upon your medical/dental enrollment.

Free basic life insurance
Our travelers are provided with $10,000 of life and $10,000 of accidental death and dismemberment insurance coverage at no cost.

Our excellent, comprehensive professional liability insurance―available to all our healthcare professionals, completely free of charge―provides you with coverage from the first day on assignment.
 

  Housing and Travel

  Free, private quality housing or generous housing subsidy
When you join the American Mobile Healthcare team, you'll live in carefully selected, free, private quality housing, close to your assignment facility. You’ll be able to enjoy this benefit on any company-paid position across the United States. We ensure your accommodations are fully furnished and include a variety of useful amenities. If you provide your own accommodations, we'll provide you with a generous housing allowance. For more details, visit our housing section. Tax-free travel reimbursement
